The Brocante (Vintage Market) last Saturday was a great success. We had about 80 stalls. Large crowds came to browse, and buy the interesting and unusual objects on sale.
The Neighbourhood Association ran a tea, cake and savouries stall that was very popular, and there was also an ice cream van and a burger van.
Several more residents than usual helped out with the tea stall, with the set up and as stewards, which was a great help.
Financially this was probably our most successful event, between the stall fees and the tea stall we made about £1400, which will go a long way towards covering the costs we anticipate for the repairs to the tracks.
So, thank you all for your help and participation, and let’s hope for many more such successful events.
