Imaginary Menagerie charms Fair Green

As part of the Diss Corn Hall on tour, we had two performances of the  Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie on Sunday. The two performances were a near sell-out, and everyone who came was enchanted. The production qualities were excellent, with great costumes, good songs and excellent acting (as we expect from this production company, Les Enfants Terrible), but above all it was really funny, for adults as well as children.

The weather was mostly glorious. The Fair Green Neighbourhood Association added its own ingredients to the event, with a tea stall and tombola, which made a little money to make up somewhat for our failed car boot sales. Adding to the atmosphere were some fairground rides from Poz, plus face painting and ice cream.
