Angles Way anniversary walk to end at Fair Green, 11th September

A message from the Norfolk Ramblers:

The Angles Way long distance path passes through Fair Green, on its course from Great Yarmouth to Thetford. It was officially opened on 6 September 1989 by John McGregor MP.

This year is therefore its 25th anniversary and to celebrate it Norfolk Ramblers, in close association with Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils, will conduct a walk along the route, starting from Redgrave and Lopham Fen visitor centre and finishing (6 miles later) on Fair Green.

Participants will gather at the visitor centre at 11:00 on11th September and before  setting off on the celebratory walk they will be regaled with encouraging words by the VIPs who are being invited to attend. They will also be offered some light refreshments.

This event is, of course, not restricted to Ramblers members, it is open to all and some advertising of the business has been  carried out.
