The Fair Green Easter Egg Trail is on as I write this, with lots of happy children and parents swarming all over the Green and in the Angel Cafe. Children have to follow the trail and answer clues, with an Easter Egg as a prize. There are additional games and fun in the Backspace, and the Angel Cafe is doing really well.
Of course, it was Rachel Baker, who we have to thank for this event, who did it all, and she adds a little later:
“Thanks for the photos on the fairgreen website. Please could you add a big thank you to the sponsors, ROSEDALE funeral home, who bought all the creme eggs and printed the trail cards for free. Also please could you thank the neighbours that donated larger easter eggs which we made into a draw. 114 children visited, and after paying hall hire, we made £263 profit for the Green. On a freezing and snowy day, I think that is fantastic!”
