South Norfolk bicycle event on Fair Green

There was an enjoyable bicyle event on Fair Green today, organised by South Norfolk Council, but with a tea stall from your Neighbourhood Association. There were a variety unusual bikes to try – a ‘pennyfarthing’ style bike, low ‘recumbants’, bikes with funny wheels, are others. There was a “Dr. Bike” stall that gave free servicing and health checks, a police stall where you could register your bike, and more.

It was cold and windy for most of the day, and this might have been one reason that attendance was low, and also South Norfolk didn’t do much in the way of publicity, but we enjoyed it, and made about £30 for FGNA.
